2011-2012

Bysantinsk filosofi, ortodox tro och kultur – nybörjarkurs och påbyggnad fas 2 för elever som tidigare skrivit en eller flera mindre uppsatser. Undervisning i grekiska, kyrkslaviska och hebreiska

Motto: Europa måste börja andas med två lungor (Yves Congar)

Samarbetspartner: Sophia – institutet i Överkalix

Längd: halvfart och egen studietakt hösten 2011 och våren 2012

Kursort: Överkalix, på distans och eventuell studieresa i juni 2012

Kursstart: 5-6 augusti 2011

Anmälan: senast 1 augusti 2011 samt under terminens gång fram till 15.10.2011

Antagningsvillkor: inga förkunskaper krävs för nybörjare däremot genomgångna kurser för högre studier

Studietakt: individuellt anpassad, distans, nät och seminarier veckoslut

Kursupplägg i övrigt: Grundläggande undervisning för nybörjare. Med inriktning på ett eget arbete i ett ämne som man kommer överens med kursledaren om, genomgångar vid seminarier, individuell handledning via e-post och vid seminarier, där deltagarna själva går igenom varandras arbeten.

Studiebidrag: eleven tar kontakt med folkhögskolan

Målsättning: Deltagarna kommer efter avslutad kurs att

Ha grundläggande kunskaper i bysantinsk filosofi, ortodox tro och kultur
Ha språkkunskaper som möjliggör inträngande i ämnet på egen hand
Ha gjort ett eget arbete under handledning
Få internationella kontakter
Umgås i flerspråkig miljö
Fördjupade insikter i den egna identiteten
Fördjupad förståelse för ekumenik och samtal över kulturgränser
Ha goda kunskaper i ortodox teologi inom skönlitteraturen
Kunna förstå aktuell ortodox teologi utifrån dess egen filosofiska tradition
Kunna identifiera aktuella frågor i tiden som utmanar vårt sätt att tänka
Kunna tillämpa inhämtade kunskaper i kontakter med de ortodoxa samt i sitt personliga liv
